Salt Bread Ko. is a Korean-style sourdough bakery based in New York, bringing the soft, pillowy texture of Korean sogeum-ppang to the heart of the city — riding the global wave of K-food culture alongside K-pop and K-Drama

The brand identity is built around the bread itself. The core symbol abstracts the cloud-like, airy form of the signature salt bread into a simple, memorable mark — soft in shape, confident in presence. Typography and color palette follow the same logic: warm, approachable, and distinctly Korean without being literal about it.

Designed for a city that moves fast, the identity works across packaging, signage, and digital touchpoints — staying consistent whether it’s on a paper bag or an Instagram story.

Salt Bread Ko.는 뉴욕 코리아타운에 위치한 한국식 소금빵 베이커리입니다. K팝, K무비와 함께 전 세계로 확산되는 K푸드 열풍 속에서, 한국인에게 친숙한 소금빵을 뉴욕에 소개하기 위한 컨셉으로 개발되었습니다.

브랜드 아이덴티티의 출발점은 소금빵 그 자체입니다. 겉은 바삭하고 속은 부드러운 구름 같은 질감을 핵심 심볼로 추상화하여, 단순하면서도 기억에 남는 마크로 완성했습니다. 타이포그래피와 컬러 팔레트 또한 따뜻하고 친근하되, 한국적인 정서를 직접적이지 않게 담아냈습니다.

바쁜 도시의 속도에 맞게, 패키지부터 사이니지, 디지털 터치포인트까지 일관된 브랜드 경험을 전달하기 위해 브랜드 개발 뿐 아니라 브랜드 아이덴티티 가이드라인 개발까지 전 과정에 참여하였습니다.
