Starbucks’ spring MD has traditionally revolved around florals and nature-driven graphics. For 2023, the concept took a deliberate shift \u2014 reframing the season through the lens of spring in the city<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than leading with flowers, the designs drew from the visual richness of urban environments. Illustration concepts, sketches, and layouts were all directed in-house, with illustrator Ohio executing the final artwork. Geometric tile patterns inspired by Portuguese azulejo tilework were used throughout as an alternative to conventional florals, adding a sense of travel and craft to the collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lineup spanned tumblers, mugs, cold cups, kitchenware, and lifestyle accessories, unified by a palette of warm pastels and earthy tones. The promotion achieved a sell-through rate of over 90%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
